Career or Lifestyle
Hi guys
Well the grand final was so much fun! We went to bed early and got up at around 3am for a 4am start. Turns out we made a good choice, we arrived at The Slug to find a whole lot of tired, drunk, messy looking people, whereas Rach, Tash and I looked fresh and revitalised. The line was massive, but Emille on the door let us jump to the front...reminds me of those annoying Isobar queue jumpers...now I am one!
There were massive screens everywhere, we set ourselves up in front of one and grabbed a meat pie and snakie. The game was so exciting, I loved it! Everyone really got into the spirit and I was so pumped when Sydney won! Got hit on twice which I thought was hilarious considering it was officially the earliest I'd ever pulled: 5am! We left the bar at 9am, Rach, Jax, AB and Ange headed to Parsons Green to chill in the sun but I went to the pool cos I was feeling guilty about my meat pie…! That night I had to get Rachel from a house party cos she had officially run out of fuel then that night I went dancing.
The following day Claire and I met up for a Wagamama's lunch then chilled until that evening when we got totally sassed up and headed to Pitcher and Piano - which she loved. I introduced her to many new faces including Emett and his pals, Jackie and the guys and Michael.
I've had very flattering news at work. My boss Andy's boss has asked whether I would be interested in taking an office management position within her department in Canary Wharf. It would be a massive career move with loads more money. I haven't made my decision but my main motivation for coming to London wasn't career or money. I earn good money now and I still have the freedom to enjoy the lifestyle. This would mean long hours and all the responsibility of running the office resting on my shoulders. I have built up a great working relationship with everyone at Channel 4 I don’t think it’s the right time to make the move.
Anyways, nuff serious stuff. Going to Madam Tussauds this week – love love Madam Tussauds, hopefully a waxwork Johnny will be there so I can pretend that he’s my husband…
Lotsa love rachixxxxx

I choose...lifestyle. If you have it going good for you right now, why ruin a good thing? Just tell boss-lady that you appreciate the offer, but at the moment you dont feel as if youre ready for such a big move and that you'd rather gain the experience needed that way when another offer like this is offered, you will be more than prepared.
