HOME
I am writing this quite late as I didn't intend to continue my blog but seeing as I obviously still am I thought I should mention my lovely visit home...
My visit was awesome - a perfect chance to see my loved ones, friends and the beautiful state that is Tasmania. I experienced some of the best weather for winter, it was predominantly sunny and I hardly needed my big winter coat. To slide right back into family life was so nice, as it can be tough being so far away from them. We spent days and nights out wining and dining, visiting all the great wineries including Peppermint Bay, Morilla and Meadowbank. We dined out at restaurants like Casablanca where we had some amazing dishes, Amigos, Blue Skies - god saying them all now I can't believe how much we actually did!
I caught up with my Drysie girls who I had missed from the social scene, wish you guys could all come party with me sometime! Amanda had hired a delux room at Woolstore where we ate pizza and got all dressed up for a night on the town. We also went drinking on several occasions and I had a chance to see Cas and Cam too, it was nice to catch up.
Seeing my little animals brought a tear to my eye, I miss the comfort of having animals around the place, its rare to see any around London.
Although I am loving being back, Tassie will always be home to me...
